Travelling to Canada's Yukon has never been easier, whether you come by air, road or sea. Flights to Yukon are easily arranged directly to Whitehorse from Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary and from Canada's Northwest Territories, Alaska, or Frankfurt in Germany. Whitehorse is just a little more than a two-hour flight from Edmonton, Vancouver and Calgary, with same day connections from most North American cities. If you prefer a road trip, you can drive the Alaska Highway or Stewart-Cassiar Highway from British Columbia. Or you can come by ferry or cruise ship from Alaska and British Columbia.

By Vehicle: The ultimate road trip

Drive to the Yukon in a car or RVa magnificent journey filled with scenic vistas, wildlife and history. Both the Alaska Highway and the Stewart-Cassiar Highway take about two nights and three days to drive, taking you right through incredible scenery and into the friendly northern communities of the Yukon. With 5,000 km of well-maintained highways and our famed scenic drives, Yukon is the ultimate road destination.

By Ship: A relaxing journey by sea

Travel north along the British Columbia and Alaska coast through the Inside Passage with BC Ferries and the Alaska Marine Highway System to Skagway, Alaska. Alaskan Inside Passage cruises also dock in Skagway, Alaskaonly two hours away by road from Whitehorse. Summer scheduled coach connections run daily between Skagway and Whitehorse. Rail and coach combination excursions are also available.

By Bus: Tour by motorcoach

You can get here by regular Greyhound Canada service from southern British Columbia and Alberta along the Alaska Highway to Whitehorse. There are also long-haul coach companies offering a range of tours.
