Getting Started
Season:
Winter

Tuck yourself into a cozy Yukon cabin and fall into a long-deserved spell of relaxation. You'll spend quality time with friends around the fireplace, swapping stories and sharing soul-warming meals. Before bed, step outside to catch the awesome Northern Lights. During the days, explore the breathtaking landscape on snowshoe, snowmobile or cross-country skis.

Day 1 – Arrive, Settle In, Exhale

Although you'll immediately feel a calming shift after landing at the Whitehorse airport – so much open space and fresh air! – today will be spent picking up your pre-arranged transportation, gear rentals and other retreat essentials before the real relaxing can begin.

After the shopping is complete, you may want to explore a local attraction or two: head to the Yukon Beringia Interpretive Centre to learn about our unique prehistoric past at Canada's only museum dedicated to the ice age, or get an overview of everything Yukon from natural history to the gold rush at the MacBride Museum.

After touring the city, depart for a scenic drive or flight out of town to your remote cabin and let the last of your concerns fade away.

Days 2 – 3 – Cozy Up!

Feel time slow down as you curl up with a book by the fire, enjoy a game over hot toddies with friends, or explore pristine forest trails from your backdoor. Give yourself permission to relax.

At night, let the dancing ribbons of the Northern Lights entrance you. Shared with good friends or a loved one, these are memories that last forever.

Day 4 – Recharge in Whitehorse

Feeling rejuvenated, bid adieu to your cabin and head back to the small but hopping city of Whitehorse. Sip on a latte at one of our artsy cafés, chat with interesting locals, or peruse our galleries and gift shops.

Maybe you'll find a unique piece to take home with you – something that will always remind you of the inner peace you found here.
