Travelling to Canada's Yukon has never been easier, whether you come by air, road or sea. Flights to Yukon are easily arranged directly to Whitehorse from Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary and from Canada's Northwest Territories, Alaska, or Frankfurt in Germany.

Whitehorse is just a little more than a two-hour flight from Edmonton, Vancouver and Calgary, with same day connections from most North American cities. We encourage you to shop around as prices can vary significantly from one airline to another.

If you prefer a road trip, you can drive the Alaska Highway or Stewart-Cassiar Highway from British Columbia. Ferry or cruise ships stop in Skagway, Alaska, with the option to take a charter bus or coach tour to Whitehorse.

By Vehicle: The ultimate road trip

By Ship: A relaxing journey by sea

Travel north along the British Columbia and Alaska coast through the Inside Passage with BC Ferries and the Alaska Marine Highway System or Alaskan cruise ships to Skagway, Alaska. Alaskan Inside Passage cruises also dock in Skagway, Alaska—only two hours away by road from Whitehorse. Summer scheduled coach connections run daily between Skagway and Whitehorse. Rail and coach combination excursions are also available.
