National Aboriginal Day 2012

The Council of Yukon First Nations and the Adaka Cultural Festival Team in partnership with Canadian Heritage, Indian and Northern Affairs, Music Yukon and Northwestel, host a day of cultural celebrations filled with music, food and entertainment for the whole family.

In Whitehorse, the event features traditional First Nation crafts demonstration and a bannock bake-off at Shipyard's Park from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m.

Celebrate with Kluane First Nation, Champagne and Aishihik First Nations and Parks Canada at beautiful Kluane Lake from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
