The campground is operated by the Keno Community Club. It is located at the edge of town on Lightning Creek. Across the Creek is Sourdough Hill, you can walk across the bridge at the campground and walk up Sourdough Hill. There are hiking trails in the area, get a map at Keno Mining Museum. The Museum also has a brochure for a Walking Tour of the town. Keno is the second smallest town North of 60. You can park at the campground and easily walk two blocks to the Museum. The Museum comprises three buildings and the Walking Tour which will also show you our historic buildings.
The campground has twelve sites, firewood and water available. It has a screened in Gazebo which has a wood stove and a few picnic tables. Pets welcome. Showers and Laundromat are located downtown in a building beside the Recreation Centre.
