On June 21, summer solstice, the sun never sets in some parts of Yukon. The midnight sun makes for wondrous carmine and magenta skyscapes that last for hours.
This is an annual event held across Canada where thousands of people participate in family-oriented activities in parks and Historic Sites.
Check with local community Visitor Information Centres for more details beginning of June, for activities in a park near you.
