On June 21, summer solstice, the sun never sets in some parts of Yukon. The midnight sun makes for wondrous carmine and magenta skyscapes that last for hours.
A free, all-night art festival in the heart of Whitehorse that will see the city transformed by contemporary artists, chefs and audiences.
This year, five commissioned artists and numerous independent artists will create performances and installations for Whitehorse Nuit Blanche. Local chefs will create feasts and snacks to celebrate local culinary delights and the creativity that can only be found in food.
Between June 30 and July 4, audiences are invited to join featured artists in workshops and open studios to witness and learn about the creation and inspiration process.
