Visitor Information Centres

Yukon Visitor Information Centres are open seven days-a-week during the peak season from early May until late September. The Whitehorse Visitor Information Centre remains open throughout the year.

The communities of Carmacks, Faro, Keno City, Mayo, Stewart Crossing, Teslin and Old Crow operate local visitor centres which are generally open from mid-May until mid-September. Hours of operation for these local facilities may be different from hours listed below.

Peak Season: May 6 – September 24, 2010

Beaver Creek, Carcross, Dawson City, Haines Junction, Watson Lake and Whitehorse

May 6 – 13: 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
May 14 - September 16: 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
September 17 - 24: 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Non-Peak Season: September 25, 2009 – May 5, 2010
September 25, 2010 – early May 2011

Whitehorse Visitor Information Centre ONLY

Monday – Friday 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Sunday CLOSED
