Traversing one of the Yukon’s least-populated regions, the Campbell to Canol scenic drive in Yukon offers visitors a quiet, more remote travel experience with fabulous fishing and wildlife viewing.

Gravel roads wind through an untouched wilderness landscape delivering a true northern driving experience. The Campbell Highway begins in Watson Lake at the world-famous Sign Post Forest. When returning from Dawson City, watch for the Campbell turnoff near Carmacks. Explore Ross River, a Kaska First Nation village, and Faro, a former hardrock mining town that now welcomes visitors seeking wilderness experiences.

Venture along the historic Canol Road, built during World War II, to explore lakes that are popular for Yukon canoeing and boating trips. In Ross River, a summer cable ferry transports vehicles to the North Canol, offering a more rugged driving experience.
