We are able to access space on Holland America between Vancouver and Skagway on a one way basis, either North or Southbound which is usually only available as a 7 day round trip. The Statendam sails from Vancouver on Saturdays and from Skagway on Tuesdays and the Ryndam sails from Vancouver on Wednesdays and from Skagway on Saturdays.

Please advise us your preferred dates plus second and third choices and we will do our best to accommodate you. This space is VERY limited so the sooner you contact us and give us an indication of your dates the better chance we have of getting something for you. Historically the best availability is usually for late May, early June
and late August.

The Northbound sailing is 3 nights on the ship, the first day at sea as you cruise through the waters of British Columbia with time to explore the ship and enjoy the onboard activities. The second morning you cruise Tracy Arm and Sawyer Glacier (weather permitting) and then have the afternoon and evening in Juneau, before arriving in Skagway the third morning. After a day to explore and overnight in Skagway you will travel on the historic White Pass and Yukon Route train and coach into Whitehorse where you have the next 3 days to explore the area’s museums, history, shops and fine dining with a rental car before flying south.

and one-way airfare on Air North – Yukon’s Airline – to Calgary, Edmonton or Vancouver.

For the Southbound sailing you will fly into Whitehorse from Calgary, Edmonton or Vancouver and use your 3 days in Whitehorse to explore the area with a rental car. You will leave Whitehorse on the fourth day by coach and then train on the historic White Pass & Yukon Route to Skagway. You will have some time in the afternoon to explore Skagway before boarding the ship which sails in the evening. The next morning you will be in world famous Glacier Bay for a day of cruising up close to many glaciers. Then its on to Ketchikan for a day experiencing the rain forests of Southeast Alaska. Your final day is at sea when you will have time to explore the ship and enjoy onboard activities as you cruise through the waters of British Columbia. This adventure ends on arrival in Vancouver the morning of your 7th day.
