The Yukon is surprisingly simple to get to any time of year.  It’s just a little more than a two-hour flight from Edmonton, Vancouver, and Calgary, with same day connections from most North American cities.

Air North has daily scheduled jet-service between Whitehorse and Vancouver.  Monday, Wednesday and Friday service between Edmonton and Calgary.  Turboprop aircraft fly to Dawson City, Old Crow and Inuvik, as well as Fairbanks, Alaska.

Condor Airlines provides non-stop service twice weekly from Frankfurt, Germany to Whitehorse from May to October.

By Sea

Travel up the British Columbia and Alaska coasts through the Inside Passage with BC Ferries and the Alaska Marine Highway System to Skagway, Alaska.  The Alaskan Inside Passage cruises also dock in Skagway, Alaska, only two hours by road from Whitehorse.  Summer scheduled connections by coach run daily between Skagway and Whitehorse.  Rail/coach combination excursions are also available.

Drive up the Alaska Highway or the Stewart-Cassiar Highway from British Columbia.  Each route takes approximately two nights/three days through incredible scenery and friendly northern communities.  With 5,000 km of well-maintained highways and seven scenic drives, the Yukon is the ultimate road destination!
