Caribou Crossing Trading Post

Banner Photos:

Tour Yukon's most extensive Wildlife Museum and stroll among creatures of Yukon's past and present, with favorites including grizzly bears, monster moose, woolly mammoth, and the World’s largest mounted polar bear.

Absorb some regional history with Caribou Crossing’s newest exhibit, a Royal Canadian Mounted Police heritage center. This interpretive display focuses on the history of Canada’s ‘Mounties’ and highlights their role in the Yukon Territory during the Klondike Gold Rush.

Carry on to the Husky Village where you can visit with sled dogs and husky puppies; or, for an extra fee, join a dog cart ride with the actual Iditarod and Yukon Quest dogs.
Additional onsite activities include gold panning and an extensive petting farm.

Stick around for lunch at the Caribou Café. Affordable admission rates gain you access to the museums, a visit with their adorable husky puppies, and also a stroll through the petting farm.
