Each of the Yukon’s 70 wild rivers is unique and offers canoeing and kayaking adventures and a diversity of wildlife, landscapes, geology and history. There are a couple of traits though that all Yukon rivers share—crystalline clear waters and nature at its most untouched and unspoiled.

The Yukon River combines wildlife, scenery, history, culture and adventure into one memorable trip. Paddling the Big Salmon and Teslin Rivers are mellow routes with excellent fishing, lazy floats and friendly rapids.

The exhilarating Snake, Bonnet Plume and Wind Rivers flow through one of the most remote regions of North America. Or paddle the Macmillan, Beaver, Wolf, Hess, Takhini, Liard or Pelly River—so many Yukon canoe trips await your discovery. If you're a whitewater kayaker you'll be spoilt for choice in the Yukon—and in most places you'll have the river all to yourself. Check out the rollicking Tutshi River or the world-class rapids of the Tatshenshini River. Serious kayakers will know about the Alsek River, a raging waterway through Kluane National Park with a succession of Class IV challenges. When you come up for air, you'll be surrounded by some of the most dramatic wilderness scenery you've ever seen.
