Join us on an incredible rafting journey through the world's largest bio-preserve and largest non-polar ice cap (the St Elias ice fields) down the Alsek River, voted by guides as the wildest river in North America.
The Alsek is renowned for large rapids, dramatic mountain valleys and glaciers, and is a true wilderness gem. Along the way, there are opportunities for world class hiking, intimate wildlife viewing (Kluane NP is home to the densest population of grizzly bears in North America!) and wilderness photography.
Friendly, knowledgeable, qualified guides, great cuisine, comfortable camping. The trip begins in Kluane National Park and UNESCO World Heritage Site, continues through Tatshenshini Provincial Park and ends in Glacier Bay National Park with the grand finale of Alsek Lake - where calving glaciers and colossal icebergs abound!
