Come meet our amazing crew of Alaskan Huskies, and learn about their rich history and the tradition of mushing in the North! Enjoy the same great interpretive session as our Husky Hustle tour with added time on the trail and a hot lunch enjoyed fire-side with your intrepid team of happy huskies.
This package has a total run time of 5 hours, and includes a safety briefing, introduction to the gear, a presentation on dog sledding history, and a meet and greet with the dogs. We’ll work together harnessing up your team of canine athletes, before setting off to experience the wonder and serenity of the pristine Yukon wilderness from our extensive network of private and local trails. We’ll pack in a full day of dog sledding adventure with approximately 3-1/2hrs of trail time, as well as enjoy a fireside lunch break at the halfway point with some of our favourite local eats.
Take in incredible view points of the Ibex Valley, Kusawa Territorial Park, the Takhini and Mendenhall Rivers, and the numerous local lakes, stopping along the way for some nice photo ops for you and the dogs. We'll unwind after our sled ride with some post-run cuddles, dog-care and snacks for the dogs including Q&A!
