We have partnered with Up North Adventures, a long-time canoe rental company in Whitehorse, to offer a comprehensive package to paddle down the South Nahanni River.
Come as you are to Whitehorse - the Up North Adventure crew will pick you up and get you setup for your canoe trip. Spend the evening to relax or walk the streets of the authentic and vintage downtown Whitehorse. The next morning, the 4.5h ride on the mythic Alaska Highway to Watson Lake will keep you on the lookout for wildlife! As soon as you get to the float base, we will load the airplane and fly you out to the starting point of your canoe journey.
Now it’s time to enjoy your incredible adventure down the South Nahanni River – truly the icon of Canadian wilderness rivers.
Once you reach your destination, we will organize your pick-up could it be by airplane or road shuttle depending on the route chosen. The next day you’re back home with the craziest adventures to tell your family, friends, colleagues.
Terms and conditions
The rate per person depends on the origin, the size of the party and the route inquired.
We can accommodate groups of up to 14 people. There are over a dozen routes to choose from with time on the water varying from 5 to 24 days. The canoe trip is self-guided, you will travel down the river at your own risk.
**This package includes: canoe and gear rental + all transportation out of Whitehorse.
**This package does NOT include your personal gear (clothing, camping, satellite device etc.), food, accommodation nor any park fees applicable to the individuals.
