You can only tent inside the electric fence, due to high grizzly bear use of the area. There are 20 tent sites within the fence.
The Southern Tutchone name for the creek, Khär Shän Nji, means “big roots broken down.” This name recalls flash floods that occurred long ago.
A 500 m interpretive trail begins at the campground and goes along the shoreline of Łù’àn Män (Kluane Lake). Make noise and bring your bear spray!
Campground peak times:
Warning: Tenting is allowed only behind the electric fence.
