Site description: 

The Thirty Mile section of the Yukon River lies between Lake Laberge and the Teslin River.

Designated a Canadian Heritage River in 1991.

Popular with canoeists.

Shores have many historic sites from communities that serviced sternwheelers.

Remains of the S.S. Evelyn sits on Shipyard Island at the end of The Thirty Mile.
