Explore Yukon’s documentary heritage via the letters, diaries, photographs, films, videos, sound recordings, maps, architectural drawings and exhibits at Yukon Archives.
The territory's collective memory is preserved by the rare and valuable records at Yukon Archives.
Our unique holdings include records created by territorial and municipal governments, letters, dairies, photographs, films, videos, sound records, maps, architectural drawings and more. We also maintain a non-circulating library. Wi-Fi and reproduction services are available. Visit yukonarchives.ca to learn more about our collections and to plan your visit.
We often have exhibits on display in our exhibit and reading rooms. July through February the Friends of the Yukon Archives Society (FOYAS) presents exhibits showcasing Yukon Archives materials in the Hougen Heritage Gallery located in Arts Underground, 305 Main Street, downtown Whitehorse.
Yukon Archives is located next to Yukon University in Whitehorse and is open to the public Tuesday through Saturday.
