Throughout the Whitehorse Ayamdigut campus, Yukon University displays a large public art collection with works by many well-known Yukon artists. The metal sculpture at the university’s main entrance was a collaboration between the earlier Yukon Vocational and Technical Training Centre’s drawing, drafting and welding classes.
The Yukon Diversity Art Project, "I Dreamed I Was Home", a 65-panel mural project can be viewed in the main lobby. Overseen by Nicole Bauberger and drawn and painted by more than 100 Yukoners, the piece was inspired by a traditional Tlingit song sung by Mrs. Angela Sidney at the campus’ official opening in 1988. The Hilltop Bistro, a fine dining training facility, showcases a new artist each semester.
