The people in our Visitor Information Centres have pitched their tents across the territory to find the very best spots for you to spend your vacation. Each of these places has a Yukoner's seal of approval. And if you show up on the right day, you might even see them there.
Wolf Creek Campground
“Very nice. It has well kept campsites and gorgeous hiking and biking trails that take you through almost every type of ecosystem in the Yukon. I see a beaver swimming almost every time I go there and if I am lucky I hear the owls.” - Jenn
“We love camping anywhere in the Yukon. All the sites are clean and well stocked with wood. Kusawa Lake is one of our favourites. Since being retired, we like to camp early in the week, Monday to Wednesday. That way we can get our pick of spots.” - Cathy
“Great camping spot for canoeing and fishing. Plus, if you’re up late enough you could probably spot some bats flying around! Just a few kilomètres north is the Rock Glacier Trailhead, which is a 20 minute walk up onto the toe of the rock glacier. It’s a cool spot for a picnic and for anyone who is interested in geography.” - Jenn
