Home to spectacular mountain scenery, pristine waters, breathtaking highway views, and the largest non-polar ice field, Kluane is a surprisingly quiet, gorgeous escape in any season.
Departure from your accommodation in Whitehorse will set us off on a spectacular 155 kilometres to Haines Junction and further afield via the Alaska & Haines Highways. Lake shore walks, light hikes, and slow moments soaking up nature await us at planned stops of Kathleen Lake, Rock Glacier Trail, and perhaps Kluane Lake and the Slims River Valley.
While Kluane National Park is abundant with postcard-like landscapes, our day is just as much about the evolving mountainscapes and views around every highway corner that will leave you endlessly heavy sighing over such beauty all along the way.
Opportunities to pullover for photography will be plentiful, and it's not uncommon that we encounter a variety of wildlife throughout our day as well.
This trip is offered only as a private tour, and of course can be heavily customized, especially during the months of longer daylight hours.
