More than 15 years ago, I accidentally stumbled into the northern lights in a small, Norwegian fishing village, and there began the love affair of a lifetime.

Today, I continue this forever love guiding northern light chases in small or private groups departing nightly from Whitehorse. We'll travel out into the countryside in search of clear skies and the renowned and majestic northern lights.

Our night will focus on maximizing our time under the aurora, so when we need to drive far or return home very late, that will be our plan. In our hours together, we'll have plenty of time for photography, star gazing, stories, and some light or deeper dives into the science of the aurora while we sip warm drinks and enjoy a little home baking.

At the deepest depths of my heart, I love taking photographs, I love chasing light, and I love consciously soaking up every beautiful moment from nature, and that's exactly what my day tours are all about; gorgeous drives, slower moments, and pure nature bathing. Perfect if you're craving some quiet time away deep in nature.

My day tours are fully customizable, and begin from a choice of the Southern Lakes/Carcross route, or the Alaska Highway North/Kluane National Park route.
