Held every Thursday afternoon between early June and mid-August each summer, the Fireweed Market is an assortment of farm-fresh fare, handmade goods from local artisans, and steaming delights from a collection of food trucks. Hand-in-hand from stand-to-stand, enjoy the variety of the local market scene, and maybe even pick out something memorable to bring home with you. Be sure to take in the live music while you sip on a local brew from the beer garden before heading out!

The Millenium Trail is a multi-use, non-motorized 5km trail right in the heart of downtown Whitehorse. It will transport you back in time at the S.S. Klondike National Historic Site, reconnect you with nature along the embankments of the Yukon River and offer plenty of opportunities to admire wildlife and local four-legged friends as it winds through greenspaces and across neighbourhood bridges. A small detour will take you to the world’s longest wooden fish ladder, where you can climb up for a gorgeous view over Schwatka Lake to watch the float planes take off.
