Message from the minister

Welcome to the return of the Yukon Gold Explorer’s Passport!

This popular contest has evolved to a digital format, but still showcases the incredible heritage, culture and natural beauty of our territory.

Discover what makes the Yukon unlike any other place. Visit any of the 38 amazing locations that are participating in the contest and enter for your chance to win Klondike placer gold and other great prizes.

The Yukon is home to many First Nations governments and Indigenous people, and we encourage all visitors to learn about the respectful travel guidelines shared by Knowledge Keepers, imparting the values of Ná t’sin t’ra, the Northern Tutchone phrase meaning “Hold everything up in respect.”

Join in the fun and make memories exploring all there is to see and do. This year is a great time to experience the Yukon as it is our territory’s 125th anniversary. Enjoy your travels and good luck to all!
