Yukon River Trip
Yukon River Trip
Paddle from Carmacks to Dawson City. Our experienced guide and cute dogs will make this an unforgettable adventure into the Yukon Wilderness.
The Yukon River was the main route during the Yukon Gold Rush when would-be prospectors rushed to Dawson City in the hope to strike it rich. The Yukon River is still named after his original Gwich'in name Yukon meaning "great river." Let our experienced guides and cute dogs take you deep into the Yukon wilderness while you retrace the route of the stampeders and learn about the rich history along the way.
This adventure will include 1 night at our wilderness lodge before your paddle starts in Carmacks and 1 or 2 more nights at the end of your trip. In addition to that you will have 2 nights in Dawson City after you spend 8/9 nights on the Yukon River. We include a full day in Fort Selkirk to make sure we have time to learn and explore the rich first nation culture.
Due to the nature of the trip we have one buffer night planned in, so you do not have to worry or stress about anything and can fully relax. If the buffer night is not needed we have one extra day to explore.
