Check in at your accommodation, and take a little time to freshen up before you and your girlfriends take the town by storm. If you’re feeling hungry head down to Front Street and get a quick bite to eat at Chechakos Bake Shop. After that, explore town and check out Dawson City’s unique shops that boast one of a kind gifts and souvenirs. Don’t miss the Danoja Zho Cultural Centre; it’s across from the Visitor Information Center and has some beautiful handmade treasures.
There are so many good restaurants to choose from for dinner, so pick one to eat at before you head over to Diamond Tooth Gerties Gambling Hall. Since 1971 Gerties has been wowing visitors with its unique Klondike period style and friendly charm. Test your luck gambling or take in one of our three nightly Cancan dancing shows. Later on in the evening, go brave the “Sourtoe Cocktail” at the Downtown Hotel. Will all your girlfriends be bold enough to kiss the toe?!

Rise and shine! You won’t want to waste any time today. Head over to Klondike Kates for a delicious breakfast. They use local products and ingredients in their flavourful dishes. After you’ve eaten breakfast, join in on Parks Canada’s tour of the Commissioners Residence and experience the grandeur of the historical residence of the Commissioner of the Yukon. The residence has been restored to the era of Commissioner George Black and his wife Martha Black, who was one of the Yukon’s most intriguing and influential women.
Hop aboard the Klondike Spirit and ride the current of the Yukon River on this narrated cruise. Relax while you take in the beautiful landscape and learn about Dawson City, the Klondike Gold Rush, and the historical site of Moosehide.
Enjoy dinner on one of the many restaurant patios Dawson City has to offer, and then head to Bombay Peggy’s where you can enjoy the finest martinis in the Yukon! (The “Temptress” is one of our favorites.) No evening would be complete without a short (or long) stop in at the Westminster Hotel. You’re likely to catch some local talent performing in this one-of-a-kind bar. Bust a move in the silver dance room while enjoying the music and the twinkle of Christmas lights!

There’s no better way to start the day than with a delicious latte from Bonton & Company. Enjoy the calming atmosphere, or take your order to go and eat by the river at Dawson City’s Waterfront Park.
The Midnight Dome is unmistakably the most recognizable Dawson City landmark. Complete with its rock-face scar known as the Moosehide Slide, it stands majestically above town. To end your trip, drive or hike to the top to enjoy the breathtaking panorama of the Yukon River Valley. Don’t forget to snap a photo and #dawsoncity to share how much fun you had on your trip.
